More Pumpkin Patch

I think I mentioned that we planned to take SG to the pumpkin patch with Grancy and Grandma and take some cute Halloween pictures.  Here she is all dressed up in her oh so cute Halloween jumper that Ms. Margaret Anne made her.  She is also sporting her Halloween shoes that Lovie bought her and a great bow that Grancy brought her.
 

Here she is happily riding in the car with Grancy beside her entertaining her.  Not long after this picture was taken the "incident" occured and we were no longer able to wear that outfit. 


Instead, we put on our costume for a few minutes, but it was pretty hot for long sleeves and the heavy fabric of this outfit. 
She is the cutest ladybug I know! 







I should probably explain why we call her Grandma.  Until several years ago, Aaron referred to her as Aunt Lynn.  She got the nickname Grandma when the desk clerk at a hotel made the comment to Ms. Nancy, Arden, and Aunt Lynn how lovely it was that three generations were all traveling together.  Aunt Lynn is Ms. Nancy's childhood friend, so it was a bit offensive that the clerk thought that she was the grandmother.  Arden started calling her Grandma making fun of the situation and it stuck. 
So now SG is probably going to think that she has 1 extra grandmother.  Every baby should be so lucky!

SG became quite fond of Grandma. 

We were very sad to see Grancy go.  We had a good visit and wish Grancy could stay longer, or at least come back real soon!

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
