Celebrating Livy

Image
We can't forget that for Livy it is not just Christmas, but also her birthday! Our first activity was to celebrate her birthday.  She was so excited to celebrate and very happy she got to decorate for her party! Her elves even came to help her celebrate! Lovie had a yummy lunch spread for all of us!

Livy's Birthday

Having a Christmas birthday isn't easy and last year Olivia's party was cancelled due to COVID, so we were happy she got to have her party this year! Jeanne' did so good making this pop fidget cake happen! The kids enjoyed the Chuck E Cheese games and birthday fun!

Happy Half Birthday!

Sarah Graves very sweetly planned a surprise half birthday party for Olivia! Pops and Lovie helped her get the stuff and she directed how it should bo.  Livy was truly surprised! I think she felt very special. Happy for Livy to celebrate her half birthday in spite of COVID and so proud of Sarah Graves for thinking of Livy and wanting to do something thoughtful for her.

Pool Fun!

We started our day off with a yummy breakfast at Asiago's Skillet. Funny how quick the kids can get ready when they are motivated by breakfast! Aaron caught this glimpse of a double rainbow.  After breakfast, it was off to the pool! We had so much fun! It was our last day to enjoy the beach and pool and the kids definitely made the most of it. Not sure what it was about the blue ring, but it was the most desired and most fought over diving ring!  After our rest time, it was back out to the beach for kite flying. We also made one mermaids! Neither of them was really patient to be buried and mold the tail, but they did pretty good. Sissy was more into lounging! The water had high levels of bacteria making it risky for kids who have constant scrapes and cuts to get in. It was really hard to decide to not get in the ocean, but it felt like the right thing to do for all...

Beach Birthday!

Aaron's birthday fell during our beach trip and gave us time to celebrate this guy who means so much to us! After taking Jeanne' for a quick bit of physical therapy for a bad back, he brought home birthday doughnuts! I attempted a pancake breakfast for him, but just for the life of me could not get the stove right to cook decent pancakes! Even on his birthday, he found a way to make it good for all of us! A little more pool time! They never get tired of coming up with new and crazy things to try. We had a yummy dinner of fried shrimp (not Jeanne' :)) at our favorite, Floyd's! Then, we were off to the magic show! Aaron found out about this and thought it could be a fun activity to celebrate his birthday! It was definitely engaging! When the magician called out for any birthdays in the audience, the kids were so excited to point Aaron out! He was not excited, but a good sport! He was able to help saw ...
