He Is Risen!

we spent a lovely morning enjoying E.B.'s visit to our house.  A scrapbook kit, pool float, and personal fan were big items for Sissy.  A football for the water, pool float, and personal fan were big items for Charlie. After a beautiful church service filled with beautiful music from handbells, organ, and choir; we came home for a yummy lunch.  Sissy made these tasty cupcakes with peeps on top! She also wrote out our menu for the day. Ms. Janan joined us for church and lunch.  Mom and Dad brought us lovely calla lilies to celebrate. I filled 20 eggs with varying amounts of change for each kid. Each kid had

Dyeing Fun

Our schedule stays hectic and Easter was no different, so it made me feel really good that the kids expressed their desire to make sure we got together to dye Easter eggs! We made it happen on Saturday morning so that we could still make it to ballgames.  This year we added the Egg-Mazing to our egg dyeing. I honestly expected it to be a fail, but it turned out really well. The kids loved it and it made neat designs.  Glad we could have this fun time together!
