Car Wash

Image
We spent a gorgeous, Sunday afternoon washing the cars! The kids were eager to help and I took full advantage!  We cleaned both cars inside and out. So nice to get in a clean car - for a few days at least!

Sleepover Fun

Image
The kids had a fun time having friends sleep over. They chose their familiar besties to have over and everyone had a fun time! Charlie and Harrison spent their time enjoying video games.  Sarah Graves and Chase enjoyed yoga challenges again! Harrison was able to come to church with us. Fun to have a buddy there!

Cuteness!

They look so cute all dressed up for church! I just love seeing them so sweet together!

Cousin Time

Image
The kids were so happy to spend a Friday night at Lovie and Pops' playing with Olivia and enjoying a family game of charades! So nice to have everyone together and enjoy fun!

After School Time

Image
One of the best parts of working from home is being able to see the kids as they come home from school and get a few extra minutes with them.  Sarah Graves loves to do these craft kits! She gets a new one each month and they are so cute and fun for her to make.  Charlie comes home every day looking to get on FaceTime with his buddy Harrison and chat as they join each other playing Minecraft or Roblox! They never get enough of chatting and playing!

Letting Go

Image
Sarah Graves hates to get rid of things. So, taking photos is a way for her to save the memory. but let go of the item. Her pretty dyed Easter eggs.  This one was her favorite! She hated to unwrap her chocolate bunny! This poster for a school project was a source of pride. Her person was Gladys West who helped invent the GPS.

Easter Fun!

Image
After lunch, it was time for fun! Pops gave the kids new water guns, they did a scavenger hunt, and hid eggs in the backyard! The kids were a blur as they ran and laughed! Lovie and Ms. Janan Aaron took these pictures of the pretty signs of spring! This was a beautiful Easter for so many reasons! The biggest reason is that we were together celebrating this Easter!

Easter Dinner

Image
After church we came back for a nice lunch.  Sis was very proud of her carrot cupcakes! She made it all herself and even filled the chocolate cupcakes with Reese's Pieces! Yep, we went all out on desserts! Charlie made the lemon berry cake with a little help from me, Ms. Janan brought buntinis, and we had our iced sugar cookies! So yummy! For lunch, we picked up Popeye's fried chicken, made Uncle Ron's rice dressing, Jeanne' made coleslaw, and Mom made her fantastic strawberry salad. It really was so delicious and we spent a nice time being together around the table enjoying the afternoon.  This year the kids had their own table. They laughed and talked for a while then made their way to play while we lingered over our meal. Great for everyone! Lovie and Pops brought prizes - matching outfits to wear on our beach trip! Can't wait! Then,, we had some silliness around the table! Yep, a great time at lunch!

All Dressed Up!

Image
Agter a fun morning with Easter baskets, we were dressed up and ready for church with Lovie, Pops, Maw Maw, Nay, and Livy. It was so nice to be at church in person celebrating that He is risen! My precious babies looking so sweet for church!  Look at these cuties looking so sweet!

Egbert Came!

Image
Sarah Graves left a note for the Easter Bunny asking what his real name was. He wrote back that his name is Egbert, but only his mom calls him that! He was grateful for the celery the kids left out and in return their baskets were full of goodies! As has been our habit, the kids waited until 6:30 to come wake us so that we could all look at their prizes together! Lots of smiles as we had an easy morning looking at baskets and enjoying treats.  I can remember holiday mornings that were not so smooth, so this makes me so grateful that the kids are a little older and big days can be filled with fun and joy!
