Dyeing and Icing

When the kids were born, Aaron and I talked about traditions. He felt Easter is the most important holiday of the year (correct from a religious perspective), so I felt we had to create traditions to make Easter a bigger celebration than wearing nicer clothes than usual to a fancy church service. I am so happy that one of our traditions we created is getting together to dye Easter eggs.

Bunny ears!

Maw Maw gave all the kids ears! We have sweet bunnies!

This lunch came together so easy and was really tasty! The ham and swiss sliders were yum and the fruit kebobs with lemon dipping sauce were really good. Jeanne' brought chips and dip for a treat!

Dyeing eggs was fun for everyone! We had plenty of eggs, lots of colors and a few special finishes.

After eggs, we moved to decorating sugar cookies! Royal icing and yummy sugar cookies make for a tasty treat!

Fun to see everyone's designs

Favorite eggs.

Lucy as a sweet bunny, too! Sarah Graves loves her and takes such good care of her!

So many bright and fun eggs.

Charlie didn't want to ice sugar cookies, but he was all too happy to test them!
