Cruise Bound!

Image
We have been excitedly awaiting our dream trip to go on a Disney cruise for so long and finally the day came! Lovie and Pops booked the trip for all of us a year ago and it felt like it would be forever, but finally it was time! So exciting! We drove down to Orlando and spent the night there before heading to the port to board the ship! No park to play at, no problem! We made a jungle gym using the trolley! We had a relaxing evening going swimming and eating pizza by the pool. So fun relaxing together and anticipating all the fun coming our way! Just writing this post a week after our trip makes it hard to believe it's over.

Livy is 3 1/2!

A Moana themed party at the park complete with friends from school and popsicles! Birthday girl! A fun Moana themed cake. Lovie and Pops did the decorating! The birthday girl enjoyed her moment! She took it in and blew out the candles like a pro! A cuddle with Lovie. Sissy got in there too. Sissy loved how twirly her dress was! Charlie found a stick and that delighted him!

Grandparent Camp

Sarah Graves and Charlie had so much fun with family in Shreveport! I don’t think they had time to be homesick they were having so much fun. Fun on the lake! Happy 4th with Grancy! The resemblance is so strong! Pool party fun! Pa Paw and all his great grands. What a special day! Ma Maw was surely smiling down watching. Horseback riding with Grandaddy and Mi Mi! There were also some trips to Waffle House and more pool time! They definitely enjoyed themselves and are talking about another visit next summer!

Stone Mountain Evening

Image
We enjoyed a lovely evening at Stone Mountain having a picnic dinner on the lawn, hanging out, and enjoying the laser show. The weather was great and we had such a fun time being together. Grancy and the kids had never been and I think they really enjoyed it. It had been years since Aaron and I went to the laser show and we enjoyed seeing all the new things added.  Charlie took this photo and I was so impressed with his eye to capture this image. The kids loved getting these glow swords and had fun pretending they were lightsabers!

Grancy's Visit

Image
We were so excited to have Grancy come visit for a week. The kids were really excited for her to come and were very eager to make chocolate pie with her! Hers is the best and they made it twice while she was here.  The kids mostly wanted to hang out at home, but did enjoy Grancy taking them bowling!  The plan was always for Sarah Graves to go back with Grancy and spend a week in Shreveport. After having so much fun with Grancy at our house, Charlie said he changed his mind and he wanted to go too! I was so excited for him to be that comfortable and find his courage.

Night at the Aquarium

Image
Sarah Graves' Girl Scout troop raised enough money from cookie sales to spend the night at the Georgia Aquarium. They had a really fun time! After looking at the pictures, I'm jealous!

Way 2 Play

Image
Charlie and Sarah Graves had a fun week at camp. Charlie went to Way 2 Play Sports camp and Sarah Graves was at Way 2 Cheer camp. They both had a fun time at camp and enjoyed the different activities. In the afternoons they brought in instructors to teach chess and do art with them making it a well-rounded experience! Sarah Graves learned several cheers that she and her pals performed on their last day of camp.

Swim Team

The month of June was spent swimming! Sarah Graves competed for Smyrna Sharks on the Makos team and Charlie prated on the rookie team. Lovie got them to practice each morning and without her we couldn't have made it all work. Tuesday evenings were spent at meets cheering Sissy on! I was so excited to be around swimming again and missed my own swim team days so much! Grancy came to cheer Sissy on. Lovie was there for the meets too. Daddy and Charlie were there to cheer her on too! Charlie made lots of new friends hanging out during the meets! Sissy had a good time hanging out in the bullpen with school buddies like Mallory. Backstroke is her favorite! Each meet, each child swam 5 events - 2 relays and 3 individual events. Sarah Graves hung in there each time no matter how tired or how late it was! Getting a shark drawn on is part of the prep! I am so proud of how hard she worked and kept getting better all season. So glad she enj
