It's Friday!

This week has felt long, so I am even more excited for the weekend than usual. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so we will look for something outside to go and do. Of course it will need to be a 5 minute activity because that's about all the time we have between feedings and naps!

My computer is still broken. Aaron has spent a lot of time working on it, but nothing has fixed it. We have pulled all the pictures off, so I am relieved that none of them are lost. I think he is going to do a system restore tonight and rule out a software problem. He ruled out a virus already, so hopefully it is a software issue. If that's not it, I guess it's a hardware problem and we will take it for someone else to diagnose.

Sg is great. She does this grungy, throaty noise when she sees something that she wants. It is very primal and reminds me of a cave woman. Come to think of it, she is pretty rough when she plays and at times her crazy hair looks a bit savage; maybe that's what she should go as for Halloween, a cave woman. She makes me laugh on a regular basis! I love her personality!

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
