I thoroughly enjoy other people's blogs.  I have learned a lot from other people and I am also well entertained.  I like having a glimpse into someone else's life and getting little details that you probably wouldn't hear just by checking in with them now and then.  Some of the blogs that I read are people that I know and some of them are people that I have never met, but feel like I know them pretty well.  When I talk about people from blogs Aaron will often ask if this is someone that I actually know, or someone that I just read about.  Does it really matter?  They're like characters in a book that goes on month after month.
Of the blogs from people that I don't know, Dooce and Pioneer Woman are probably my two favorites.  I have been reading dooce for a while now and although I don't always agree with her opinion, her writing is excellent.  I also love and admire her photography.  Pioneer Woman is one that I have heard about for a while now, but have only recently started reading.  If you have not checked her out, you have to visit her blog.  I really like her writing, she's a little snarky and sentimental at the same time.  Reading her description of life on a ranch almost makes me want to live out in the country, raise a bunch of kids, and enjoy that lifestyle.  Notice I said almost.  Her mentioning things like excitement about going to the city and going to Target brings me back to reality and my unwillingness to give up these things.  I also really enjoy the different sections of her blog with recipes and photography tips.  If you haven't been to this blog, you should treat yourself and check it out.

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
