My Huge Baby

Yesterday, a co-worker felt compelled to share with me that she thinks my belly is absolutely HUGE and that she didn't know if I was aware, but I was going to have a huge baby.  She was wondering if my doctor had talked to me about this.  This would have to go toward the top of the "What Not to Say tol a Pregnant Lady" list.  First, no woman wants to be told that she is huge.  Second, no woman wants to hear how you were not that big the day you delivered and you can't believe she has 12 weeks left to go.  Then, there's the fact that no woman thinking about giving birth wants to believe that the baby that will be exiting her body is going to be a huge one, seriously.  Then, I stood in front of a room full of co-workers and delivered a presentation.  Wonder how many of them were listening to my description of an upcoming survey and how many of them could not stop staring in amazement at me and my HUGE belly :)
If it weren't for the fact that she has to come out of me, I really hope that Sarah Graves is a nice plump baby.  I think they're cuter.

WOW!! Talk about no cooth! What a horrible comment to make to ANYONE much less someone who is going to have a baby. Sarah Graves is going to be perfect!!

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
