Growing up in the 80's, I loved Cabbage Patch and always wanted to go to Babyland General Hospital! I was excited that when I mentioned going there the kids were excited.

Charlie was excited by the dolls and all the things for them.



Everybody thought the treehouse was fun!

We watched Mother Cabbage give birth to a baby girl that the crowd named Autumn Kate. Sarah Graves is still giggling about a doll born in July being named Autumn!

Olivia loves babies and she enjoyed all the dolls as much as the big kids!

We thought their school room setup was very cute!




She was so much fun to be with and eager to let me take lots of pictures!

She brought home a new doll that takes a paci!

We had to document unboxing her.

Olivia got a new baby too and she was delighted!

Charlie chose to skip the new doll (he uses one of mine) and instead got a new Batman toy! He walked right to it and said this is the one I want, a transforming bat cave! The look on his face was pure joy!

We had a fun day and I really enjoyed seeing it with my little doll lovers!

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
