Good Morning America

My Mom watches Good Morning America religiously. I would too if I didn't go to work so early. Anyway, when we were walking around last night we found the spot where people stand outside the studio. This morning I mistakenly got up an hour early, so I suggested that we walk over thwre to see if we could get close and see anything. When we arrived, Mom asked a security guy if we could go in the studio and be part of the audience and he said we could. I knew that I couldn't stay long, but went in anyway. So I left them there and went on to my training. Who would have guessed that SG would sneeze and get the attention of Sam Champion! He came out again and SG qgave a cry and got his attention again. A friend of Mom's said that even Robin Roberts mentioned her name! I don't have any video of her big television debut, but I think my grandmother may have recorded it, so hopefully I will get to see it sometime.
Who would have guessed my Mom and my baby would be on national TV!

Hey Nat -- John and I are going to try and make a DVD off of the TIVO next week while we are at Maw Maw Coon's for Thanksgiving. I will ship it over to GA for you all. Wish us luck. I know it can be done as he does it all the time with LSU games, but we do not have TIVO just "DIVO" - Commcast version of TIVO. We can only try!! Please do post pics. I bet you guys had a great time! Wish I could have met you up there!

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
