School Day

The kids having P.E. time playing in the backyard in their pajamas. They would really like to play basketball, but we just don't have the right yard for a hoop.

Sarah Graves had a lot of work to do a science project, a reading summer and some Spanish and math. She decided to practice her keyboarding skills and type her science report. Then, she decided it would be easier to make a palette next to me so I could help her with the word processing software. She panicked when she saved over her original work and we had to have a lesson on file management!

Lucy likes to come through for snuggles!

We stepped outside to share a photo with Sarah Graves to be part of bringing Allelujah back after Lent.

I am so proud of the creativity and thought Sarah Graves put into her visual for her science ecosystem project. She was assigned prairie. At first, she was bummed wanting something more exciting like jungle or ocean. Then, she did some research and realized that the African savanna is home to some of her favorite animals - giraffes and elephants!

We were both tired once she finished all of her work that day. She was pleased to get her project turned in a day early and I was pleased to see her working so hard.
