Christmas Morning

The kids were kind to us on Christmas morning and waited until 6:30 to wake up! Not feeling so great was probably responsible for that, but I'll take the sleep. When Charlie first woke up he was in a rough spot. He felt horrible and had no interest in any presents. Fortunately, some ibuprofen got him feeling good very quickly and he was ready to get into the Christmas gifts!

Sarah Graves was delighted when she came down!

Chelsea clothes were a fun stocking surprise.

A new doll with computer programmer accessories was fun! Sarah Graves is calling her Emma because she looks a little like her friend Emma from school. The doll wears glasses, has long dark hair with a fun pink streak, and she has blue eyes!

A video game controller for the iPad and a big Nerf gun were exciting for Charlie!

Aaron was pleased with LSU Christmas socks in his stocking.

Sarah Graves was so sweet when she opened Charlie's gift, a cool Lego set, she ran over and hugged him!

The LSU theme continues for Aaron!

My sweet boy with his new stuffed animal that he named "Red Red" (it's a red panda) and a crystal growing kit that Sarah Graves gave him.

Lucy was surprisingly excited about Christmas! She was feeling frisky and excited for her new toys!

A Harry Potter DVD set from Maw Maw made Charlie smile!

My big gift was a new DSLR camera and I will say that our photos got better when I opened that gift!

This girl was thrilled to get a set of "Who Was" books from GG!

So much joy for a hydro flask for our VSCO girl! It is even in her new favorite color, yellow!

She was ecstatic to receive the book, "Guts" from Uncle Steve!

A new Harry Potter t shirt.

He was quite pleased to open a pocket tool set from Uncle Steve that includes a pocket knife! Aaron is a little concerned for safety, but Charlie is pleased! He keeps talking about the blood circle they learned about in Cub Scouts!

As they continue to get older, I find so much enjoyment in exchanging gifts with them. They are excited to give the things they picked out or made and their maturity to handle all the overwhelming excitement of Christmas make it fun!
