Sea Day!

Our first day at sea was packed with lots of fun! We started bright and early by heading back to Animator's Palate for a breakfast with characters from Disney Junior. Character breakfasts are always a little chaotic and this one was too, but the kids enjoyed seeing some of their beloved characters from favorite shows.

Sofia the First was sweet as always as she greeted the kids.

Jake came by and we were excited to see him. Livy stole a touch of his hair!

There was much excitement to see Doc McStuffins




Even Pops wanted to say hi to Mickey!




Again, the port holes were like magnets!

Walking through the atrium we ran into Jessie from Toy Story. Charlie was off to kids club with Livy, so SG got some only kid time!







We enjoyed a windy round of goofy golf!

As Sarah Graves headed off to kids club, Charlie was ready to come back and have some only kid time in the pool!

It was formal night so we took some time to look our best for dinner, pictures, and the show! The show was Wishes and it was excellent! Singing, dancing, Disney characters - just fabulous! Sarah Graves was on the aisle and was thrown a lei as part of the show!




Dinner was in Enchanted Garden and it really felt like you were in a park or garden. Charlie had a fun time snapping pictures during dinner!
Marija was our fun and friendly Assistant Server.



Jason was our Server and he was also very fun!

A special order for uncrushables had them running to room service to get some, but it put a smile on this boy's face!







We celebrated Aaron's birthday while cruising! He had birthday wishes and yummy cake! I think the rest of us had a delicious pecan tart, so we made out quite well, too!







The kids were not too impressed with me to be taking all of these pictures, but I cherish them and the memories of our fantastic days!

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
