Great Wolf Lodge

With a Great Wolf Lodge now open just outside Atlanta, Charlie's birthday was the perfect time to visit! He brought his best buddy, Miles, to spend the weekend and help celebrate his birthday!

The kids enjoyed breakfast at Chick-fil-A before we headed out of town. I miss the days when it was called Chick-uh-lay!

We picked up Miles and they were so excited!

A car full of excitement!

When we went to our room there were birthday surprises for Charlie! A coupon for a scoop of ice cream, balloons, and birthday cards!

Look at these excited boys proudly showing their magiquest wands!

Miles brought Charlie some cool birthday presents like this Lego set.

Off to the water park for more fun!

The lazy river was by far their favorite part! I think they loved the freedom of floating along and often getting swept ahead of me and Aaron!

After water fun, we came back to the room to enjoy the yummy cookie cake that the kids and I made. Sooo good with chocolate chips and M&Ms just the way Charlie requested!

After dinner it was time for Magiquest! It took the kids a bit to get the feel for the game in this new space, but it wasn't long and Sarah Graves was remembering where things were. She was pretty excited about her Magiquest belt she got with her paw pass.

A stop at the Great Wolf Candy Co. was a big hit!

We had no trouble getting the kiddos to bed. A movie on the TV and they were soon out!

The next morning we had Dunkin Donuts for breakfast then headed to the water park!

A water slide that we could all enjoy together was way fun!

Did someone say wave pool? That was a big hit!

Silly girl shooting water at her brother!

And so much fun to shoot water back!

And Miles was excited to get in on the action too!

Daddy and SG had fun riding together.

So much fun riding water slides!

Our last stop was the arcade!

Sarah Graves couldn't believe her luck winning 1,000 tickets on a single game!

We had a fun weekend, enjoyed seeing this new resort, and Charlie had a great time for his birthday!

The ride home was a bit tiring and the boys were definitely at the end of their rope. They had a bit of an argument, but an apology and demonstrating farting noises seemed to make it better!
