Castaway Cay

Our last day on the cruise was at Castaway Cay. I had heard a lot of good things about Disney's island, so we were really excited!

The night before we weren't sure if we would be able to go. Jeanne' started feeling really ill when she went to bed and soon Livy was knocking on our adjoining door to get me to help. I wasn't sure what might be wrong but Jeanne' felt like her blood pressure was really high and she had symptoms of stomach flu. Unsure of what to do, I got mom and then we started working on what to do. Finally, when her tongue began to swell, it was decided she needed to see the ship doctor. As it turns out, Jeanne' has a lobster allergy that she has recently developed. The doctor took care of her and with a little sleep she was feeling fine. So glad it wasn't anything worse than that!

My two cool dudes!

The water in the Bahamas was just gorgeous!

This ship was so awesome and the little touches like Dumbo on the back of the ship made it so special.

Sarah Graves and Livy opted to spend much of their day at kids club.

Even Mickey was in his swimsuit!

Charlie hung out with us in the morning and joined kids club in the afternoon.

These water slides were quite fun! One was open and very fast and the other was closed making it dark and surprising.

With the kids in kids club, Aaron, Dad, and I headed out to do some snorkeling.

Disney buried some of these which added to the snorkeling fun.

We had a fun day. The lunch might have been my favorite part. The ribs were some of the best I have had!

Just like that, in the blink of an eye, our magical vacation was over. We had a wonderful time and made memories that none of us will ever forget. I can't thank mom and dad enough for such a special trip!
