Cruise day was finally here!

Nay and Livy on the shuttle to the port!


The time finally came for our cruise! After months of planning and anticipating, the day was finally here!



So excited for the start of our vacation!


As soon as we were on the ship we started seeing characters! So fun to see princesses just walking around.

The kids were really excited to check out Kids Club! They had been most excited about that part of the cruise!


Everything was so cute and sized just right for kids!


The kids were magnets for these port holes!

Walking through the atrium and Charlie ran into Pluto!

Our dining rotation started at Animator's Palate and it was quite a treat!


Talking with Crush was pretty cool!




Mickey ice cream bars were a big treat!



Having the top bunk pulled down and showing the starry sky from Peter Pan delighted the kids.

Exciting to see our first towel animal that our cabin steward, Dani, created for us.

After dinner, we went up to the pool deck to swim and caught Hercules on Funnel Vision. It was quite nice up there!

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
