More Down Time

We spent our sixth day at Disney having some more down time out of the parks.  Our kiddos don't quite understand down time, so they were awake by 6:30 and quickly started getting antsy in our room.  So, we headed out on the ferry boat to visit the Wilderness Lodge.  
You have a great view of the Contemporary from the water.  

Sissy loved the boat and was excited to look around.  

For lunch we headed to the Animal Kingdom area to enjoy lunch at Sanaa looking out on the savannah.  The food was an interesting and tasty blend of Indian and African.  You couldn't beat the view from our table seeing ostriches, zebras, and antelope roaming around as we enjoyed our lunch.  




We checked out some other resorts that we might want to stay at during our next trip and we enjoyed a Dole whip at the Polynesian.  


The weather wasn't the best, kind of drizzly rainy and at times a downpour, so we did a little shopping at an outlet mall in Orlando and followed that with dinner out.  

Our days outside the parks were really great for helping us recharge and feel like it was really vacation.

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
