Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend!  We didn't have much planned, but it turned out great.  Saturday morning we had Music Together and Ms. Jennifer brought a parachute and SG LOVED it!  She had so much fun running around under it and shaking it to the rhythm of the music.  
Saturday afternoon we brought the kids to Lovie and Pops'.  Some friends of theirs came over with SG's friend Mia and the grandparents let them have a play date.  SG was thrilled and even more excited that she got to spend the night!  Aaron and I were excited to go out for dinner just the two of us and had a fun time enjoying tapas at Spice.  
We picked Charlie up Saturday night and he got to feel what it would be like to be an only child on Sunday.  Aaron was even brave enough to go with me to the mall on Sunday afternoon and watch Charlie while I shopped!  That was a real treat!  Dinner with Lovie and Pops on Sunday evening rounded out the weekend and made for a really fun time.

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
