Charlie is 5!

My sweet boy turned 5! He was so excited about it! He had been talking about his birthday for months!
Charlie is full of life, very affectionate, has a great sense of humor, a logical mind with an attention to detail, and an all around great kid! When he starts a sentence, "If I understand correctly," I know I'm going to be called on the carpet for something. He showers me with kisses regularly; continues to be my snuggle buddy at night; and is hooked on playing video games, particularly Smash Bros. with Aaron!
On any given day his favorite food is pepperoni pizza, peanut butter and jelly uncrushable, or strawberries. He pretty much only drinks water and cannot stand any carbonated drinks. Some of his favorite things to watch are Puppy Dog Pals and Sofia the First. He has a tender side and takes good care of his doll, Max. It is very cute to hear him and Sarah Graves playing dolls as Mom and Dad. He also enjoys playing with his superhero figures and building with his Legos. He loves listening to Puppy Pirate books at bed time and doesn't care that we have read them many times. 
He completes our family, brings us so much joy, and helps us grow. I couldn't imagine life without this sweet buddy and am so grateful he chose us.

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
