Beach Day 7

Suddenly it was our last day at the beach and we decided to pack in as much fun as we could!

The seaweed had moved out and the water was back to its beautiful clear, green color!
Cartwheels in the sand!

My girl is so much fun and loves all things beach!

This guy had a good time!

Sometimes Aaron is the calm in all the crazy!

My buddy doesn't like to pose, but he enjoyed poking around in the sand with a stick!

Charlie was elated to realize he could touch in the shallow area without his puddle jumper!

One more night out for fried shrimp!

Charlie was so funny. He was eating fried shrimp and asked Sarah Graves, "Sissy, have you tried shrimp? They don't come alive and wiggle in your mouth." 




Who knew wiki stix could be so fun!

After dinner, we headed for putt putt!

Only Charlie would go out for putt putt and turn it into a building game!

Aaron beat us all!


Sissy was in love with ice cream after putt putt!

Charlie was more intrigued with palm trees!

After putt putt, we went for a night swim!


We had a wonderful day!

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
