The Force Is Strong

Sis threw up during the night (yeah, maybe dessert for dinner is something you have to train for) and we worked to quickly get bedding changed and her showered so we could all get back to sleep! It was that feeling that you just fell asleep, even though it had been a couple of hours and all of us had a hard time getting fully awake. While I helped her get cleaned up, she said she felt dizzy and unsteady. I was sure we wouldn’t make it to Hollywood Studios and prepared myself to stay with a sick kiddo at the hotel. Sarah Graves is strong and she woke up determined to go!

We were a little later getting to the park and were very excited to hop on Rockin' Roller Coaster with no wait! I so love that my kids like roller coasters! I think Charlie may love them like I do!

We took advantage of our line time for some fun selfie filters!

Given how bad it was riding Slinky Dog in the rain, we decided we should give it another try when it is dry!

Riding without being pelted in the face is way better! I'm not sure this one is worth the long wait, but it was fun.

Yummy snacks for breakfast! Yep, definitely vacation eating!

Frozen lemonade is good fuel for Char!

Seeing Olaf - no warm hugs today!

We caught Toy Story crew out on parade.

We went to the Frozen Sing Along and remembered how funny it is!

They really do a great job of retelling the well known story in a fun way!

We went to the short film Vacation with Mickey and Minnie. It was very cute, like the cartoons I remember from when I wa a kid. Charlie enjoyed these photo ops set up in the theater.

Love these cute Disney photos!

Tower of Terror had such a long wait, but we were able to use Genie + to reserve a time and avoid the two hour wait. Sarah Graves was really nervous to ride and found her courage to do it. Charlie really liked it and felt it might be one of his favorites! Sarah Graves was glad she rode it, but isn't sure she would choose to do it again!

We tried having lunch at Sci-Fi Drive In and we loved it! We sat in our "car" booth, watched shorts of sci-fi type programs, and enjoyed tasty burgers and fries! We lucked out again that our lunch reservation lined up with a major rain storm coming through!

We all enjoyed riding Toy Story Mania again! Aaron always gets the high score, but it is a fun ride no matter who wins!

Sis and I enjoyed this yummy pop tart from Woody's Lunchbox.

Then, we made our way to Galaxy's Edge to spend the afternoon.

Pic with Chewie!

Sis was very excited to see Rae!

We rode Star Tours several times and were please we had a different story each time.

The most fun was walking around taking in the details of the area, seeing some characters, and fun photo ops.

We took another ride on Smuggler's Run and made it back safely with Sarah Graves and Charlie as pilots.

Having done everything there was to do at Hollywood Studios (and some things multiple times), we ended our park day a little early and went for a swim at the hotel. The kids and I love a soak in the hot tub after a long day!
