A few days after our Disney trip, it was time to celebrate Sarah Graves' confirmation!

Sarah Graves and I attended confirmation classes. The youth building has a panel with handprints from each confirmation class. She was happy to add her handprint to the panel for her class.

The church provided each confirmand with this sweet succulent and note.

Her day came on Sunday, March 20 at Smyrna First Methodist and she was surrounded by all of her grandparents plus Maw Maw Yvonne, Nay, and Livy. What a special day to have everyone together celebrating this big step in our sweet girl's life!

I also love that she has this group of eighteen middle schoolers who are on this journey with her and have already become dear friends of hers.

Afterward we came to our house to continue the celebration.

Sarah Graves loves flowers, so it seemed perfect to decorate with a visible sign of God's beauty.

To keep the weekend easy and fun, we ordered food from a local Italian restaurant and it was a delicious hit!

Of course, we had to have many pictures to remember this big day!

I love the dress she chose and I think she felt glamorous wearing it!

A beautiful frame to remember her day.

Showing off her new jewelry to commemorate her big day.
Not pictured, she received a rosary that was gifted to GG on her confirmation and blessed by the pope, a silver case for the rosary, and a beautiful new Bible and personalized bookmark. All so thoughtful and sweet reminders of how much her family loves her and supports her on her journey with God.

The big chocolate cake was definitely anticipated and much enjoyed! She is so grown up and took pride in cutting and serving her cake.
