Animal Kingdom

We spent our last park day at Animal Kingdom. We parked at Unicorn P and the kids thought that was hilarious!

Animal Kingdom had a really early park opening at 7 am. We were up at 5 to get there for rope drop, but it paid off with a short wait for Flight of Passage and it was an awesome ride! It really felt like you were flying on the back of a large creature.

Sis was very scared to ride Kali River Rapids and really annoyed when she got wet! I used to feel that way as a kid too! Sorry mom and dad!

Dinosaur was a fine ride with a few thrills in the dark!

Sis enjoyed her popcorn. Where did the lid fall off now?

Sis loved getting stamps in her Wilderness Explorer activity!

Sis saw an activity for a drawing class and we joined in! Charlie was a little frustrated with trying to follow the instructor and wanting a perfect piece. The rest of us didn't take it so seriously and enjoyed our Minnie drawing.

We gave Triceratop Spin a whirl!

We rode Dinosaur again and were thankful our crew made it back safely!

With time to spare before the show, we enjoyed a Mickey ice cream.

Score for us! We saw Kite Tails. The first time, they abruptly stopped the show because a kite was tangled. A little while later we saw the full show.

We enjoyed shows like Tough to Be a Bug and Festival of the Lion King. We barely made Lion King and ended up with a front row seat!

Sissy's popcorn lid was stuck in the chain doorway at the wild birds!

Charlie loves to find a good nook to tuck in!

Perched on a rock to enjoy a cinnamon roll for breakfast.

We had a great safari guide! she was funny, knowledgeable, and when my phone fell between the cars she used a hook to retrieve it!

Those crocodiles!

Our last ride of the night was not a good one. The ride was a slow moving boat ride in Pandora that we waited a very long time to ride! As if it was planned, the popcorn bucket lid fell off into the water as Sarah Graves got off the boat!

Six consecutive park days and we made it! We had a great time, our feet hurt, and we made lots of memories together!
