A Perfect Day

On Wednesday we enjoyed another beautiful day having fun in the pool and the beach.

That magical moment when you hear the ice cream truck just as you are coming out the door and make a run to the truck! Our jolly rancher push ups did not disappoint!

Then, we headed on to the pool!

We had the silliest fun playing some crazy scenario where Charlie was my 7 month old baby named Ferdinand who was amazingly strong from drinking his spicy, baby juice!

In a different scenario, Sarah Graves was a helpless baby that Charlie found on the street. We called her "Weird Baby Off the Street!" We laughed and laughed as we swam around trying to find someone to take this odd baby!
Thank goodness we had the pool to ourselves for our interesting game!

Sarah Graves discovered that the tub could help her avoid putting her feet on the bottom of the ocean! She worries so about touching a fish or a crab!

Another sand sculpture! I loved these little surprises!

We headed to dinner at Allie's Bistro and it did not disappoint!
Sarah Graves was brave and tried dipping her bread in the olive oil with herbs. So good!

Charlie discovered he likes tiramisu!

After our yummy dinner, we headed to play putt putt!
We tried the pirate theme and had fun learning interesting facts about pirate life at each hole. Did you know pirates rarely used walking the plank as punishment?

In the midst of playing our game, we looked up to the most delightful surprise. Fireworks! We had a great view of them and let those behind us play through so that we could stop to take in the beauty!

I can't imagine a more perfect day! So much fun together!
