Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween

A few hours before the party started, they handed out goody bags and wristbands to everyone with tickets so that you could stay in the park and enjoy the trick-or-treating, shows, characters and rides late into the night!

These cuties were pumped up once they had their costumes on! Even a lot of adults had on costumes and some were really impressive! There was a cool Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.

Did I mention how excited she was about Elena? Love this girl!

We rode Goofy's Barnstormer and then there he was ready to meet with us!

My crazy crew was hyped up by all the excitement and influx of candy!

Cruella Deville was one of the villain characters out for the party and I was excited to meet her! Charlie was a little scared, but Sissy was brave and had her picture taken.

We rushed from meeting characters to check out the Boo To You parade! The kids liked seeing the obscure and villainous characters.
Captain Hook

Captain Jack Sparrow

Charlie loves the movie Wreck it Ralph. We have watched it many times, so I was so excited for him to see Vanellope and Ralph from the movie in the parade!

I had read about the show they do during the party and it is based on the Disney movie, Hocus Pocus. So we made sure to watch the movie before we went. We staked out a spot in front of the stage at Cinderella's castle and waited for the show to start.

I thought the show was really well done and the kids enjoyed that they brought in some of the villains like Captain Hook, Maleficent, and Cruella.

It was starting to get late, but I really wanted the kids to see the show and fireworks. These glow necklaces that I brought with us were just what they needed to stay entertained and awake while we stayed in our spot waiting for the show.

The pictures do not do justice to how amazing the castle looks as they transform it throughout the show. They even included a scene from Wreck It Ralph! Of course, Frozen and hearing Let It Go is always a crowd pleaser! The lanterns from Tangled are just beautiful as they float up the castle. I love how the magic of Disney offers something for everyone.

The castle at night. After the shows we headed back to the rides and took a night ride on Seven Dwarfs, which was awesome! Charlie asked to do it and he thoroughly enjoyed himself and so did the rest of us! We also went over to Astro Orbiter and rode that at night with a view of Tomorrowland.

We closed the park down doing a little souvenir shopping after the rides and characters were over. It was a super long day being in the park for 17 hours straight! Thank goodness Aaron either loves it as much as I do or he's just willing to indulge me in my joy!
