Frozen Summer Fun - II

We had some time to see some of the rest of the park before the Sing Along.

Charlie was very excited to see Jake until it was his turn and then he wasn't so sure.  Lovie stepped in to help him out!

I just love all the Disney touches!  It made me so excited to go back in September!

The morning excitement was a lot for Char and he quickly fell asleep for his nap.

Sissy on the other hand was ready to go!

She enjoyed meeting Sofia and getting an autograph for her book.

We spent a little time in Oaken's Trading Post playing with the ice/snow and mostly enjoying being cool.

Finally, it was time to go into the theater for the Sing Along!  It was a great show.  It was better than I thought it would be and was a dream for Sarah Graves!

She was one happy little girl!

We had a chance to see Tales with Belle, too!

Late in the afternoon the dance party started up by the stage.  They played some good music, but the best part was the characters coming out to dance with us.  Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy were all out.  They weren't doing meet and greets, but you could gather around them and dance with them.

After dinner it was time to head to the dessert party!  I didn't really know what to expect, but it was way better than I thought it would be.  There was no sense of needing to rush or fearing you might not get something you wanted.  There were two large tables covered with all sorts of bite sized confections including the Olaf cake pop and the precious Elsa and Anna cupcakes.  The treats weren't just darling to look at, they were yummy too.  There were also carts with novelty ice creams, stands offering Frozen themed adult beverage like the "warm winter grog" that I enjoyed, which was more of a vodka and citrus type flavor.  There were also tables with beverages like iced tea and lemonade as well as plenty of ice cold soft drinks and waters.  After a hot day, the unlimited ice cold bottles of Dasani were a welcome relief!
The dessert party was situated so that you were near the stage and could view the people enjoying the dance party and take in the activity on the stage.  Charlie fell asleep during dessert, but he happily slept on in his stroller.  Once it was dark, Anna came out and later Elsa and Kristof did too along with an animated Olaf.  These characters seemed so natural in their role and acted like they truly love doing what they are doing.  The fireworks were done to songs from Frozen with little bits in between done by the characters.  The display was just the right length for oohing and aahing, but not getting bored.  I enjoyed the day as much as Sarah Graves and am so grateful to Lovie and Pops for taking us all down there!  It was a fabulous treat and made me so excited that we are going back in just a few weeks!
