Trip to the Aquarium

On Sunday we went to the Georgia Aquarium with my parents, Jeanne', Maw Maw Yvonne, and Ryan.  We had such a good time looking at all the fish and the people.  Sarah Graves was a model baby and was such a joy to be with.  Ryan really enjoyed all the interactive things for kids and it makes me look forward to enjoying those things with Sarah Graves.  We saw the 4-D movie and she was totally into watching it.  She even left the glasses on!

We stopped to nurse in the darkened room with the whale sharks!  Sarah Graves does enjoy a little entertainment during her dining experience!

Mom and Pops posed with Sarah Graves in front of a mountain of Deepos.  When we decided to have a child, I never took into consideration how much my parents would delight in her and how much fun it would be for me to watch!
Aaron and I bought annual passes to the aquarium so that we could come back periodically to let her look at the fish, so we will have many more adventures at the aquarium.

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
