Lowering the Volume

I recently had the idea that I might sleep better if I wasn't constantly being awakened by every noise that Sarah Graves makes in her sleep.  I know, it took me almost 6 months to think of this.  So, I turned down the volume on the monitor so that the sounds of her moving and making little noises in her sleep are very soft and I am only awakened by her intentional noises.  This has really helped me sleep a bit better.  I'm still having to get up with her, but for those 3 or so hours in between feedings, I am able to sleep more deeply.
There is such a big learning curve with the first baby!
