Wild Atlantic Way

Determined to see the Cliffs of Moher, we got up insanely early to make the drive back and be there when it opened. The positive was that we stopped at Circle K (who knew they are everywhere in Ireland) for petrol and they were putting out fresh pastries. They were so fluffy and crisp. Who knew gas station pastries could be such a treat!
It was cold and very windy, but the view was as great as we expected!

We saw lots of sheep all over Ireland and we would "Baaaa" when we spotted them.

We found this kids hat in the gift shop! So cute! Wish he would agree to wear it.

We left the cliffs feeling victorious that we finally made it to one of the places we really wanted to see and then started making the very long drive up the Wild Atlantic Way.
This stop looked fun and who wouldn't want to try out a wishing chair!

Hope she gets her wish!

Called a fairy bridge because when the tide comes in just right, the water pushes up through the holes making it feel mystical like fairies are doing it.

Despite the coldy, windy day, it felt good to get out and enjoy being outside as we continued our drive up the coast.

We stopped off for a sweet treat at a cute ice cream shop. When we were planning our trip we read about lots of ice cream and doughnut shops, but those must be more available in the summer. Nonetheless, the kids were expecting frequent sweet treats and this was a definite morale booster!

Glad to be finished with the big part of the drive and be in Bushmills for the night. Our hotel was just great.

We enjoyed a slightly fancy and fantastic tasting meal with a really great server. Such a great experience and made us feel really relaxed like vacation. We enjoyed the Bayview Hotel.
