A Day of Joy

After celebrating Livy, we were ready to dive into the mountain of gifts from Lovie and Pops! Because we take turns watching each person open, telling stories, and doing quick try ons and unboxings this takes a few hours. We enjoy doing it this way and I think it helps the kids appreciate the joy of giving and watching someone enjoy what you gave them.

A new doll for Livy. A toddler that she decided is three years old with a Christmas birthday like hers!

Lovie with the two new babies - Katie and maybe Perseus

Nay and Sissy are going to learn to crochet!

Sarah Graves spent a lot of time designing and sewing Barbie clothes for Olivia. She took great care to make each piece and really thought about Olivia. It was a special gift!

Charlie got a comfy! Look out! With a gaming chair and this to keep him comfy, he may never come out of his room!

Aaron is going to be ready for anything on our next cruise! Pops is set with "shampoo" and now Aaron will be with "sunscreen"!

Such sweetness! It must be Christmas!

A 3D pen for creating.

Sissy saw this travel backpack and really liked it. She was thrilled with the pattern. chosen and can't wait for trips!

Pops is going to be ready for more walks!

Who knew baseball cards would really excite Charlie! This was his favorite in the set he got.

Livy may be turning 9, but she is ready to take on the teenage years!

Sis finally got a cowgirl hat! Can't wait to see her rock this style!

Nay gave Charlie a marble run, strategy game and it really pleased him.

Showing Livy his new game.

All that gift opening is exhausting!

Sissy helped Lovie set this lovely table for a fantastic meal! The beef tenderloin continues to be a showstopper!

Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory was a definite treat!

This girl is loaded up and ready to head home!

We had such a great time together. Sometimes a day with such high expectations can lead to big feelings and somehow we all stayed in a good place and easygoing. It was truly a day befitting of Jesus' birthday - full of love!
