Friday Fun Day

The kids' fall break fell at a tough time for other activities so we opted to stay home. I did take off a Friday to do some fun things together.
We started with breakfast at a spot we recently discovered called Snooze. The food is really good and the kids like their specialty drink bar for tea lattes and hot chocolates!

Next, we visited a German bakery we have been to before but don't often get there because of our schedule.

Then we headed to Marietta Square and went to a shop with all sorts of candy, snacks, and sodas. We walked and looked at all of the options then landed on flavored sodas and pop rocks!

Charlie went with Toxic Waste soda!

SG tried a drink from Japan requiring you to hit a marble to open the bottle and the marble bobs around while you drink. It made her happy!

It started raining while we were walking around so we hopped back in the car and ate our treat from the German bakery!

Then, we headed on to paint pottery.

We had such a fun time with our pottery! They were engaged and worked hard on their pieces, but no one took it too seriously and got frustrated!

I had such a fun time with these two! We laughed, we walked around together, and mostly just enjoyed the time to be together and not be rushing around!
