Strawberry Picking

We had a fabulous time going to a local farm to pick strawberries and have fun on some of their farm activities!
Strawberry picking went extremely fast as the kids were eager to pick them and there were lots of ripe berries. We were there early, so it was nice to have a lot of area all to ourselves.

Charlie had fun playing in this sand box sort of thing filled with corn! The corn was cool and was a neat sensory experience to feel it on your body.

We loaded up on a trailer for "Hey" ride. The farmer would throw out bread to bring the cows over. He gave us some to throw too and in my effort to get the bread to the cow, it landed on his nose!

We taught Sarah Graves the difference between hey and hay and she thought it was funny they called it a hey ride!

We took a break for some cool drinks at their snack stand.

The jumping pillow was a huge hit! The kids loved to play chase and turn flips on it!

I might have enjoyed it a little too!

Neat slides made out of pipe and other materials.

The petting area had some baby goats and bunnies. I was surprised when Sarah Graves wanted to pet one.

We really had a good time!

After all our outdoor fun, we were pretty hungry. We headed to Chili's for lunch and to play a round of LIFE on the game system. The kids must have been really hungry because Sarah Graves finished her pasta and tried french fries!
