Memorial Day Weekend

We had a relaxed Memorial Day weekend.  Saturday morning was our last Music Together class for the spring and then we went to Lovie and Pops' house to help them do a few things to get ready for their move.  We can't wait until they are all moved into their new house less than 2 miles from ours!  
Sunday we enjoyed a nice breakfast before church and ran some errands after.  Monday we had a lot of time to play at home and then we went for a swim.  
 Charlie was enjoying cooking in the kitchen!

SG enjoyed playing airplane where she was the passenger and I was the flight attendant getting her juice and helping with her baby!

We joined a little swim and tennis club about 15 minutes from our house so that we could have a place to go and swim regularly.  The water was pretty cool, but we had a chance to swim a bit and meet a few of the other families there.  I think it will be good for the kids to have a place to swim on the weekends.  
Weekends always go too fast, but we enjoyed our time to be with the kids and get a few things done around the house.

Frozen Party Details

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
