Friday Night Fun

Looking to spend a Friday night doing something festive, we tried to go to Six Flags only to realize it isn't open on Friday night; we tried to go to a tree lighting only to find traffic and parking too much; we tried to see a movie only to find it sold out; and then we gave it up and headed home.
On our way home we were all feeling a little defeated when this car behind us kept flashing their lights and began honking at us. Finally, at a red light the drive got out and ran up to us going on about how we hit her car. We were all taken aback that this drive got out in the rain in the middle of traffic to claim we hit her. Then she ran around our car to check for damage only to find none. With traffic backing up and cars honking she decided to get back in her car. It made for a crazy experience that the kids have retold!
We attempted to turn our evening around by ordering pizza and watching holiday programs.

We really enjoyed Olaf's Holiday and then attempted to watch another program. Sarah Graves picked A Cricket on the Hearth. It was completely odd, had horrible singing, and the strangest story. We have laughed about that program so many times!
I hope the kids can remember how we turned a rainy, yucky Friday night into a memorable time together!
