Feelin' Country

Our chance to explore Nashville continued on Saturday. We headed downtown for breakfast at Johnny Cash's and a trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Aaron gave the Nashville hot chicken a try!

The kids played with fashion plates while waiting for their food and Charlie made his into Johnny Cash.

The food was great and the live music made it fun!

It's June and Johnny!

Scavenger hunts make museum visits more fun!

Sis was the kid with the most interest in the memorabilia. She is also the one who enjoys country music. She was taken with some of the costumes on display and definitely thought some of the really recent ones worn by the young ladies were a little crazy!

The original lyrics for 80's Ladies - a song that makes me think of my sister and our childhood!

There was a ton to see in this museum and it was a little overwhelming to take it all in!

Across the hall was the hall of fame and we saw the plaques for the best in country music!

It was a neat place to visit and a great way to bring to life some of the music and artists we have shared with the kids.
We all agreed we would like to come back to the downtown area with more time to explore.
