Up, Up, and Away

We took a break from our beach days and went parasailing! We were really excited to experience this together!


The crazies enjoyed riding together!

Livy had cold feet, so Jeanne' and Sarah Graves went up together!












They had an amazing ride! They could see dolphins playing in the water!

Aaron and I went with Charlie. He was the pro and we were the newbies!

Flying up feels cool and suddenly you have an amazing view!


During the flight, the driver brought us down for a dip in the water!








When we finally came in, it was a gradual coming down and not at all a free fall like a roller coaster! So much fun!

Our ride was awesome! I will be excited to do it again!

Last to ride were Lovie and Pops! 










This was Lovie's first ride too and she loved it!




Lots of smiles as we hung out in the boat watching each other go up! Such a fun thing to do on a beautiful day!

We followed up our parasailing with a delicious lunch at Floyd's! Charlie and I were in heaven with popcorn shrimp!

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
