Actual Birthday

When you are celebrating your birthday week, your actual birthday is still an important part!
We started off with her favorite breakfast!

Smiley face pancakes and crispy bacon!

The elves snuck in and decorated her chair! Little brother snuck in to photo bomb!

She was so happy, she grabbed him in a big hug!

She was so excited to see Rainbow Bobby and Elfa Claire showed up!


The elves' decorations were a big hit!

Ready to take on the day as the birthday girl!

She even found Charlie's silly beard funny!

We had a birthday dinner at Red Lobster. Sarah Graves pointed out that we celebrated her birthday there last year and maybe that could be her tradition! We came home and she was excited to open her birthday gifts sent from family. 


Lots of surprises to put a smile on her face!

Happy Birthday to our precious girl! 
She chose mini bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cake for her special treat! We all enjoyed ours!

Eleven years have slipped by so quick! This beautiful baby is turning into a gorgeous girl! So lucky that she chose me to be her momma and that I get the privilege of watching this crazy amazing child grow up. 

We have always said 21 is her lucky number. She was born at 7:21, on the 21st day, and 21 inches long. Wishing her much luck in 2021!

Like most girls her age, Sarah Graves LOVES Frozen and has known for quite some time that she wanted a Frozen birthday party. I was so excited when I saw this invitation on Etsy and she loved it too! It reminded me of an infographic. The Frozen theme was a lot of fun! There were so many things to choose from that I took to pinterest and eventually decided on the ideas that I would use for this party. I found this great Arendelle banner here on Pinterest I was so grateful that my sister did a snowflake Christmas and had tons of snowflake ornaments to hang as decorations! This party theme was a lot of fun to plan the food. Kristoff's ice cubes were made from Jell-o with an ombre effect. I found the recipe here on Pinterest. I doubled the recipe to make a 13x9 size pan of it and I made 2 13x9 pans of it. The made plenty of "ice cubes" to fill 35 cups. They turned out really cute! My parents made this Elsa cake and did a fabulous job

Cloth vs. Disposable

We have mostly been planning to do disposable diapers because I felt that cloth would just be too much work when I go back to work.  Then, we saw these diapers called happy heiny's ( www.happyheinys.com ).  These looked much different than what I envisioned cloth diapers to look like.  Mom used cloth diapers with me and Jeanne', so she felt totally up for using them while Sarah Graves is at her house.  I started looking into the cost comparison and depending on what type of cloth diapers you buy, you can save anywhere from $1200 - $1700.  That is pretty attractive, not to mention knowing that you aren't filling up a landfill somewhere.  There are lots of different varieties of cloth diapers out there, but the ones that seem to be a good investment and user friendly are diapers that have snap closures, with a pocket for an insert to absorb the contents, and they are one size that adjusts as your baby grows from a newborn up to 35 pounds.  You can also purchase the traditio
