The Growing Caldwell Family

Lovie planned a fantastic trip to Bennet Farms to see their beautiful flower fields! You can pick a bouquet to take home and enjoy! Charlie's focus was to get as many flowers as he could! Sis fell in love with the zinnias! They had a beautiful evening and the kids were very excited with the flowers they brought home!  

We had a great time being at the lake and really relaxing! With his new knowledge of fishing, Charlie was eager to get some bait and try fishing on our dock. He didn't have any success though.  He loves to be king of the mountain! We enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise! So nice to be out on the boat and seeing how pretty the lake is! The next morning, Sarah Graves and Charlie were eager to get back on the water skis and wakeboard. These two nuts made their own "pools"! They used kkckboards for a backrest and the bucket of water to cool off!  

The kids have really come to love and care so much for Lucy. They both have wanted Lucy to sleep in their bed. This isn't something Lucy has done, but Charlie wore us down and was so tickled to have her sleep with him! She stayed with him until early morning when he let her out of his room and went back to sleep himself!  

We had a great evening at Six Flags! It wasn't a lot of time, but the cool weather and easy lines made for a great night!  We focused on the rides in the Batman area and had to ride Twisted Cyclone too!   

So good to have my girl home! We picked up her new glasses and she was excited to see better and loves her Vera Bradley frames! We also went to the orthodontist and she was pleased to learn she will get braces later this summer! This guy was excited to get to Minecraft coding camp! He was pleased to see two boys he knows from school. The camp exposed him to some of the tools used for coding to build your own modds in Minecraft or Roblox. The camp instructor was a disappointment and not very helpful to him.  He setup an old desktop computer we have and was able to setup an account for coding Minecraft and has been learning to do what he wants using YouTube videos. It is pretty neat to watch him figure this out!  

We spent Father's Day driving to Mississippi to meet Grandaddy and Mi Mi to pick the kids up.  Although driving to Mississippi probably isn't Aaron's idea of a special day, but the chance to have lunch with his dad was really nice! The kids were excited to see us and tell us about their fun! We stopped off at a newly opened Bucee's! What an experience that was! We always enjoy a good stop for snacks, but this was something to see.  Well fed kids are happy passengers! They were very excited to see Lucy and she was very happy to get the belly runs! We had a chance to give Aaron cards and gifts and tell him how much we appreciate how much he does to love us so well!
