The Growing Caldwell Family

We headed to the lake to enjoy lake time with family! We had gorgeous weather and a great time on the water! Lots of cousin fun! This was Raelee's first time coming to the lake and we all enjoyed getting to know her! Charlie and Peyton palled around as the 2 boys. Given their love of video games, Pops called them the Smash Brothers! They were excited to take to the raft as a duo, but quickly realized it is hard for two when you are dueling rafts.  Cousin Nick got out on the boat and he and I even got on the dueling rafts! Pops was so kind to spend a lot of time pulling kids all over the lake! Livy wanted to be sure we knew about her muscles! Many falls from the round raft and lots of pick ups! Uncle Steve and Raelee Then, it was time to celebrate Maw Maw's birthday! Hard to believe this was our 5th year celebrating her at the lake.  Her great grands were excited to give her handmade cards. They sweetly watched her open her gifts Charlie was anxious to build a fire for everyone...

We had  fun weekend at the lake. Despite predictions of rain, we managed to have a lot of fun in the water.  Woohoo for getting back on the raft! We even got Aaron on the raft! Charlie loves to work on the fire! He blows on it, stokes it, and adds more wood to keep it going.  This girl is growing up too quick! Sissy is working on her ski skills and is almost able to cross back and forth over the wake.  Charlie stayed up on the wakeboard for quite a while! Livy loves the boogie board and once she proves she can get up, she hops off! We were caught in an afternoon shower and these two wisely put a shelter in place!  

 Sarah Graves looks so grown up wearing the upper school chapel uniform. She was excited for Aaron to show her how to tie a tie. Good thing he could do it!  Time with her is just flying by! I miss when she wore that sweet jumper!

Excited for his free dress day at school!   To add to the birthday joy, we saw Charlie's teacher as we were waiting in carpool line and she said hello and that Charlie is amazing. We think so too! An all around great birthday for our all around great guy!
