The Growing Caldwell Family

Here she is sporting her goth look!  Actually, it's black icing on a Halloween cookie.  Her serious look and the black tinted lips give me a scary glimpse at her teenage years! Tonight we are going trunk-or-treating!

Five years ago Aaron and I got married. In many ways our life is very different and so much more wonderful than we imagined it could be when we first said our vows. I think this is probably evidenced by what we consider a great weekend. 1. Friday night we had dinner at Chipotle and discovered SG likes quesadilla 2. Music Together is a highlight of our weekend 3. Dear Sarah Graves, I can't tell you how much fun you are.  You are bursting with energy and really enjoying being your own person.  You are so loving and give affection so freely.  You come up and just hug us or pat us to let us know how you feel.  It is so cute to see you love us with the same fierceness that I love you.  Music class has really encouraged you to find your voice for singing.  You sing often.  You sing the la-la-la-la-la portion of Elmo's song and the simple sounds of another song that we learned at Music Together.  You move with rhythm, clap along with beats, and love to dance!  I never dreamed that you would get so much out of music class.  It really is the highlight of our week.  You really enjoy going to school.  Whenever I mention going to school, you always talk about babies and shoes.  You refer to all kids as babies and you seem to have a fondness for a little boy named Chase.  He is the only ...

Grancy has been learning to sew and this is her first project for Sarah Graves.  As you can see, Sarah Graves likes this sweet dress!

 Without any prompting she started posing for pictures.  I tried and tried to get her to pose at the pumpkin patch and she wouldn't, then she sees a pumpkin at our house and starts modeling for us!
