I will forever love watching this video of her singing and being herself.  She thinks I am going to take her picture with the camera and doesn't realize I am videoing!

Natalie, I love this video. I couldn't stop watching! I particularly love her rendition of "Wheels on the Bus" and my fave part was "open and shut!" She was so animated! I also love how she immediately recalled her Beluga whale experience at the aquarium when singing "Baby Beluga" (which is a Jack-Bo fave as well!). I am a huge fan of these kinds of little clips for my family as well. my sister told me it was such a gift to my children to capture these things, and I agree! Thanks for sharing! You have an beautiful family there, and one super special little girl! ~Brooke

Check-Up

Since Sarah Grves did not listen to our request and come over the weekend, we had our scheduled check-up this morning.  All looks good.  My blood pressure and measurements continue to be fine.  We heard her heartbeat and it always makes me smile to hear that sweet sound.  We also talked about my growing anxiety about not going into labor on my own.  Anjili is very reassuring that 90% of women do go into labor by 42 weeks and we have every reason to believe that I will too.  We also talked a bit about how even if we do have to use pitocin to induce labor it doesn't have to be as bad as I feared.  She said that she will try to make it possible to be able to move around even though you are hooked up to the monitor and the IV.  Hopefully, we will go into labor on our own! One of the things that she cautioned us about is that even though family and friends are well meaning and excited to meet the new baby, the constant focus on whether labor has begu...

Check-Up

We had another check-up today and all looks good.  We met with Margaret and really liked her a lot.  For me everything looks good.  Blodd pressure is right on, weight looks good, and the measurements show good growth.  Baby girl had a good heartbeat and is now positioned with her head down and anterior.  She hasn't dropped yet, but her head is getting low.  Margaret expects that she will drop about 2 weeks before delivery.  I can't believe how close it is getting!  I am getting so excited to meet her!

This and That

While Sarah Graves was off on choir tour, we had some time with Charlie.  Play date with Ziggy. Always fun cooking up something, kicking a ball around, and inventing their own drink flavors! We spent a weekend at the lakel Then, it was time for Charlie to head off to Boy Scout camp! Sis came back from choir tour and got to work a journey for Seniors, a requirement before starting on the gold award.  Alexis was passing through Atlanta and we had a couple of great dinners! It was fun for her to see Sarah Graves too!
