The Growing Caldwell Family

Gramma sent SG an Easter prize!  She was delighted to use these new bath crayons and color on her body!  She was so excited for the color to show up.  She keeps saying it shows up!

This probably isn't the best picture of her, but she was just delighted in the bath.  She had more fun trying to grasp the water coming out of the faucet in her hand.  It was cute to watch her opening her little hand over and over trying to hold onto the water.  I have the hardest time helping her understand that she must sit down in the tub.  Sometimes after I tell her to sit down, she does and begins splashing water everywhere.  I think it is her attempt to annoy me, but I don't care, so I laugh and then she laughs. 

After her bath Aaron gave her a baby massage and she seemed to realy enjoy it.  She looked up at him so sweetly and just wiggled her little body as he rubbed her down.  I think that we will make this a special Daddy and Sarah Graves activity.

I took this video about a month ago when we gave her her first bath in her baby bathtub on February 17. I have been slow to catch on to the process of editing the videos, but finally have it ready to post. She is such an angel in the bathtub! I think she actually likes taking a bath. Could we have a swimmer in the making?

Today we had a large spitting up incident and decided the best way to recover was to give baby girl a bath.  Her umbilical cord hasn't quite come off, so we gave her more of a spit bath like we learned about in our baby care class.  Aaron was paparazzi and got some good shots.  I think she mostly enjoyed the experience.  She smells so good now!
