The Growing Caldwell Family

We love three day weekends! One more day to relax at the lake! We took advantage of the extra day and had a great time! Water gun battle from the paradise pad.  Charlie loves having someone to battle with him! We took a long ride on the raft! It was a fun time doing some tie dye shirts! Having practiced last year, everyone was a bit more relaxed doing it. Crazy kids relaxing on the swings! Camp Chickamaw looked a little different this year, but the kids enjoyed their week at the lake spending time with Lovie, Pops, and Maw Maw. The flower fields were a big hit and they were both proud of the progress they made skiing and wakeboarding!  

We had a great day celebrating our country's birthday! The kids started off with a yummy breakfast of cinnamon rolls! Then, who doesn't love a breakfast popsicle? We got out on the water to do the boogie board! Aunt Linda came by on the jet ski and picked the boys up for a ride! Time to swim and enjoy the dock is always good!  We kept dinner classic with burgers and hot dogs on the grill. These good looking kids with Aunt Linda  We had a great time celebrating with a concert on the water followed by fireworks!  When we came back, we watched a Capitol Fourth and the kids did some performances with the patriotic songs! It feels so good to celebrate our wonderful country with family! So glad the kids have the chance to know their cousins and make sweet memories with them!  

We were excited for a fun July 4th at the lake with some of Dad's family! Aunt Linda's birthday was a couple of days before and the kids were so tickled to surprise her with a cake and cards! They baked the cake and set the table with such joy to surprise her! Lovie and Aunt Tammy turned the jamp rope for the kids. Go Charlie! Some of us enjoyed a fun game of Phase 10 where Aunt Tammy took the win! Sarah Graves had so much fun with Kenianne.  For dinner, Uncle Tim made his famous tamales and the girls made some homemade tortillas to go with it.  Charlie grabbed my camera and took some great pics of his cousins.  We enjoyed a beautiful evening with a bonfire and s'mores. Such a great time relaxing and catching up together.
