3-D Ultrasound

Yesterday we went for our 3-D/4-D ultrasound and it was quite amazing. Mom, Dad, and Jeanne' joined us for our first real glimpse of Sarah Graves.  We think she's quite the cutie already!
We were able to see that sweet little face! She likes to keep her hands up over her face and seems to grab onto the umbilical cord a lot, but we managed to get her to cooperate some! I love the fat cheeks and those sweet little lips.  I have been in love with her for some time, but having a face to think about just makes me more in love! 
I can't wait until we can kiss those sweet cheeks!  They might be chapped for some time!














That's the umbilical cord coming down the side of her face, not a long ringlet!

These are so cool looking! I'm going for mine on Sunday the 29th, so now I'm even more excited :)! Sarah Graves is such a cutie already.

Thanks, Libby! It really was a lot of fun. It wasn't stressful like the 20 week anatomy one where I was concerned about organs developing and all that. This was just having fun look at our sweet baby girl and imagining her once she is here!

Check-Up

Since Sarah Grves did not listen to our request and come over the weekend, we had our scheduled check-up this morning.  All looks good.  My blood pressure and measurements continue to be fine.  We heard her heartbeat and it always makes me smile to hear that sweet sound.  We also talked about my growing anxiety about not going into labor on my own.  Anjili is very reassuring that 90% of women do go into labor by 42 weeks and we have every reason to believe that I will too.  We also talked a bit about how even if we do have to use pitocin to induce labor it doesn't have to be as bad as I feared.  She said that she will try to make it possible to be able to move around even though you are hooked up to the monitor and the IV.  Hopefully, we will go into labor on our own! Kick Off to Summer

 We had a great start to summer! Downtime at the lake with family was perfect after the busy rush at the end of school! We spent time with Aunt Brenda, Nikki, Andrea, Bobby, Fisher, Brennan, Kade, Aunt Linda, and Maw Maw.  Time by the fire pit laughing and telling stories. No idea why I don't have pictures of Charlie or Aaron, but they were there! Time for a boat ride! In May the water is still cool but feels good after you get used to it! Good to have some time to bob! The much anticipated karaoke night! Nikki and Aunt Linda had us rolling as they performed their first number with instruments! Bobby joined in and Livy was his backup singer! Pops with the house band! My favorite karaoke stars! We even got Aaron up to sing!  We laughed so hard, cheered for each other, sang our hearts out, and had a wonderful time! Steak! And a lot of it! Yum! Charcuterie lunch! This and That

While Sarah Graves was off on choir tour, we had some time with Charlie.  Play date with Ziggy. Always fun cooking up something, kicking a ball around, and inventing their own drink flavors! We spent a weekend at the lakel Then, it was time for Charlie to head off to Boy Scout camp! Sis came back from choir tour and got to work a journey for Seniors, a requirement before starting on the gold award.  Alexis was passing through Atlanta and we had a couple of great dinners! It was fun for her to see Sarah Graves too!
