The Growing Caldwell Family

While Sarah Graves was off on choir tour, we had some time with Charlie.  Play date with Ziggy. Always fun cooking up something, kicking a ball around, and inventing their own drink flavors! We spent a weekend at the lakel Then, it was time for Charlie to head off to Boy Scout camp! Sis came back from choir tour and got to work a journey for Seniors, a requirement before starting on the gold award.  Alexis was passing through Atlanta and we had a couple of great dinners! It was fun for her to see Sarah Graves too!  

 Every six years there is a choir tour referred to as Mystery Tour since the kids (and parents) have no idea where they are going! We dropped her off super early and stalked facebook for clues about where she might be going!  As Ms. Kim gave her talk before they left, parents listened in and I love how she explained that they are representing not only our church, but Jesus in the world and need to behave that way.  Lovie was tracking her watch and could see them heading to Florida, Ft. Lauderdale to be exact! Yes, they spent a day at Universal Studios! There were stops in Charleston and Savannah They also went to Virginia Beach Stop at an alpaca farm! In addition to singing, Sis played the flute in the ensemble.  We thoroughly enjoyed their homecoming concert too!

 We had a great start to summer! Downtime at the lake with family was perfect after the busy rush at the end of school! We spent time with Aunt Brenda, Nikki, Andrea, Bobby, Fisher, Brennan, Kade, Aunt Linda, and Maw Maw.  Time by the fire pit laughing and telling stories. No idea why I don't have pictures of Charlie or Aaron, but they were there! Time for a boat ride! In May the water is still cool but feels good after you get used to it! Good to have some time to bob! The much anticipated karaoke night! Nikki and Aunt Linda had us rolling as they performed their first number with instruments! Bobby joined in and Livy was his backup singer! Pops with the house band! My favorite karaoke stars! We even got Aaron up to sing!  We laughed so hard, cheered for each other, sang our hearts out, and had a wonderful time! Steak! And a lot of it! Yum! Charcuterie lunch!
