Christmas Eve
We had a relaxed Christmas and mostly spent the day getting ready for the evening to come. The kids very kindly helped set the table for our big meal. It is so nice having helpers! We even had time to take some pictures before church.
Sarah Graves performed in the children's service and we were there very early for rehearsals and to get a seat. Charlie was an excellent guy and patiently sat waiting for the service.
After Livy arrived, they went up to look at the Nativity scene.
Sissy sang "Once in Royal David's City" and played handbells for a other songs.
This was also her first time serving as a reader. She did an unbelievably good job! I was so proud of how she practiced and prepared and she did awesome!
Everyone came back to our house for dinner after church. Nay and sweet Livy in their Christmas best.
Aaron cooked most of the meal making boeuf bourguignon and this beautiful apple cider pound cake.
After dinner the kids wanted to open just one present!
Charlie opened a Batman mask from Aunt Lex and Uncle Tim.
Livy opened a Candyland game from Maw Maw.
Sissy opened gifts from Aunt Lex and Uncle Tim and was excited about these Mad Libs!
Cuties all posed on their own!
Christmas pjs for kids and dolls! Thanks to Lovie for making these.
Then, it was time for the kids to be off to bed for Santa!
