The Growing Caldwell Family

Lovie and Pops have been enjoying their Blackstone griddle and Lovie found this recipe for making cinnamon rolls on it! They looked delicious and the kids said they were yummy! Lots of happy kids for breakfast! Watching TV while lounging on the porch! We made the most of our Sunday and headed out on the boat!   I finally got a turn on the raft!  Lucy loves the boat. When she sees us getting our life jackets on, she starts getting excited and keeps a close eye on me hoping to go too! She is so cute and happy on the boat!

After several weekends doing other things, we were so happy to get back to the lake. It was good to have time to relax and spend time together. We enjoyed all our favorite lake toys and the pretty weather.  Lots of smiles and laughs!

Some kids might have been really upset to go to the dentist as soon as they get home from vacation, but luckily they like Dr. Schwartz a lot! Charlie's teeth are looking good! He has lost one tooth (in June) and should have another wiggly tooth very soon! Her teeth look great! In the next year she should be in a phase where she will lose teeth quickly! Look out tooth fairy! The marble runs are their very favorite part!

Charlie and Austin enjoyed crabbing while at the beach The kids had a great visit with Papaw and I think he really enjoyed them too! Sweet girl is always up for a photo! They had a great time with Grandaddy and Mi Mi! They were really excited about horseback riding and enjoyed swimming in their pool! Charlie enjoyed going for his "morning swim" at the start of each day! While the kids were busy in Shreveport, Aaron and I were working hard in their rooms. We completely cleaned out and organized each kid's room.  I repainted this small dresser that used to be in Sarah Graves' room to put in Charlie's I purchased this used dresser and repainted it for Sarah Graves' room so she could have more drawer space.  I was quite pleased with how each turned out and never could have finished it without Aaron's help on the paint sprayer. I am just not mechanically inclined!

Aaron's family came to Orange Beach while we were at the beach, so he came up with a great idea for us to meet at the Naval Aviation museum in Pensacola to have a chance to visit a little while we brought the kids to go back to Shreveport for a few days.  Charlie was so funny and wanted to try out each of the planes available to sit in! Cute cousins together! The museum was great! Lots of interactive exhibits and areas for the kids to play and interesting things for grownups to learn. I think everyone enjoyed it and it was a nice switch up from the Air Force Armament museum! Afterwards we went for dinner and more time to visit with them.  Charlie and Austin seem to really click! Grancy and some of her grands. The kids were happy to go back with Grancy and Get Ger. They spent another day at the beach before heading back to Shreveport. Sarah Graves and Charlie really are living their best life...
